The National Theatre: “See” All About It!
The National Theatre, located at 116 East Walker Street in Breckenridge, Texas, is one of the iconic buildings in the city.
Owned by Friends of Historic Breckenridge, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, the organization was formed in 1995 to support the revitalization and renovation of the downtown district of Breckenridge, Texas, to develop an interest in our community’s history, to encourage the restoration of existing buildings to their original architectural facades, and to promote pride in our city.
Our organization owns and operates The National Theatre, located at 116 East Walker Street. Our theatre is a completely restored and renovated 1920s movie theater in downtown Breckenridge. The auditorium has seating for 216 in a split configuration, with a center aisle and aisles along both the left and right walls.
The theatre shows many classic movies.
Memberships are available starting at $25 for individuals and couples, $50 for supporting member, $100 for a Stagehand membership, $250 for the Spotlight membership, $500 for a Patron membership and $1,000 for a Benefactor membership.
